Overview: 

This is an expert role that provides project planning and coordination expertise and support to the Global Early Development team in support of avelumab combination program; leads the operational execution of functional project strategies within the scope of the (sub-)projects assigned to. 

Tasks: 

- Provide project management and coordination expertise to team Lead and Project Sub-Teams; 
- Ensures quality, accuracy and maintenance of core project information systems and databases in compliance with internal policies and procedures; 
- Creation of project plans (e.g. Gantt charts, critical path representations, etc); 
- Develop, monitor and track project tasks, budget and timelines; provide team with early warnings on variances and support definition of mitigation actions; 
- Participate in project team meetings and consolidating output to ensure effective project progression; 
- Responsible for compilation, follow-up and maintenance of action item lists ensuring quality and timeliness of project objectives and deliverables; 
- Organize and coordinate team meetings events including logistical aspects; 
- Interact with external vendors, parties and partners to ensure collaborations with third parties run efficiently; 
- Plan and track the direct and indirect budgets and expenses. 

Candidate Profile: 
- Bachelor's degree in Science and commercial degree, preferably in Project Management 
- Experience in various aspects of drug development process 
- Several years of work experience, with exposure to or experience working with or on global and/or matrixed project teams. 
- Experience in developing social media and inter, intra-net based communication channels. 
- Good organizational and coordination skills are mandatory, pro-activity and strong time management competencies are required; 
- Experience in working with MS-Project 
- Adaptability and flexibility to switch between projects and priorities.
