Overview
Established and growing full service market research consultancy is seeking an experienced Qualitative Researcher with a STRONG and broad background in pharmaceutical, biotech and/or medical device qualitative research.
Company is a virtual company, with employees throughout the U.S., so there is no geographic restriction for this job. Home office reimbursement provided. Headquarters are in Northern California,

Responsibilities include:  
•    Having primary client contact and responsibility for all phases of qualitative research projects.
o    Writing proposals for new and existing clients.
o    Creating discussion guides and creative exercises.
o    Moderating in-person and phone interviews/focus groups with a variety of respondents (primarily doctors and patients.)
o    Analyzing research findings and interpreting the results to create insightful debriefs, reports and presentations.
o    Presenting results to clients.
o    Overseeing project managers, who handle research logistics.
•    Managing and building client relationships that grow Company’s brand and business.
•    Generating new business leads from existing clients in form of renewals and expanded business.

Desired Skills & Experience:
•    Bachelor’s Degree required, additional credentials a plus.
•    7+ years of market research experience, preferably supplier side (or a mix of supplier and client side).
•    High level of expertise in moderating focus groups/IDIs.
•    Have strong expertise in pharma/biotech market research.
•    Have existing client relationships that can be leveraged at Company.  
•    Comfort/experience with quantitative research a plus.
•    Excellent verbal and written communications, including strong proficiency in PowerPoint.
•    Positive, proactive attitude and demonstrated experience in client service.
•    Consultative, strategic approach to market research.
•    Self-motivated and able to thrive in a work-from-home environment.
